About

At Bridge of Grace, we encourage and inspire young people to create art, poetry and short stories, the best of which will be published and used to provide companionship to seniors and veterans. Most importantly, we’re building a bridge between generations through art and compassion.

We’re an organization of men and women with a shared passion to give, a desire to make a difference in the lives of youth and seniors, with a commitment to honor God by serving others.  We provide unique opportunities for intergenerational connections where youth meet the wisdom of age through the shared appreciation for art.

Founder’s Message

I am honored to be joined in building Bridge of Grace by a small but powerful team comprised of people I love and respect, who are amazingly accomplished and, at the same time, humble, caring and giving. A dynamic group that brings leadership, success, vision and faith, both individually and collectively, and a commitment to serve both children and seniors in the community.

The vision for Bridge of Grace has its roots in faith and family. It was my mother, Peggy “Mimi” McCall, who told me at a very young age that the meaningful experiences in our lives and the people we cross paths with are not accidents and that chance plays no part in God’s plan. I believe that with all my heart and my desire to offer compassion to seniors is a legacy to her. The formation of this team and the path that led to the birth of Bridge of Grace is a shining example of that lesson she taught me as a child. God’s hand has been on us from the beginning.

Dan Rendler, Brian Cameron and I were teammates on our t-ball baseball team, the Knights, over 50 years ago. Their fathers were my coaches and our lives were blessed by our family relationships. We went to grade school and high school together before life took us in different directions. But God never took His hands off us. He had bigger plans. After so many years, first as children and later as seniors, we reconnected as a result of that weathered photograph with their fathers as the bookends. Many would call it an accident or a coincidence. We don’t. And I’m grateful beyond words that He has plans for us to serve others together.

Our mission to inspire youth and provide compassion to seniors will take more than just a team. It will take a village. We’ve planted stakes in the ground – sacred ground – and we welcome everyone with a heart to serve who would like to join us in the village as we build a community that will inspire, encourage and connect.

Grace and peace to all…
