Dan Rendler, first and foremost, is a dedicated husband, father and grandfather and a man of deep faith. He and his wife Michele have been happily married for over 40 years and have been blessed with five faithful children and twelve grandchildren. He authors a weekly blog titled Positive Post Sunday and is dedicated to the Triangle of Life: Faith, Family and Fitness.
Dan’s commitment to the community is evident through his service in numerous professional and charitable organizations. He is a member of the Executive Committee and Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Inland Empire Economic Partnership (IEEP) and previously earned the distinguished “President’s Award” for his leadership. He is also currently a member of the Goodwill Southern California Board of Directors and Chairman of the Development Committee. He is a Eucharistic Minister and past President of the Parish Council at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, a Life Member of Redlands Optimist Club and the founder and president of the Rendler Family Fund Foundation.
Dan has over 40 years of experience in the energy industry. He is currently the Director of Customer Services for SoCalGas, providers of safe and reliable energy to over 6 million customers. Dan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from California State University, Northridge and an MBA with honors from the University of Redlands.
Past Leadership
Dan is a past member of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Southland Board of Directors where he spearheaded fund-raising efforts that raised over $1M to fight blood cancers. He is a past member of the University of Redlands Board of Trustees and a past President of the Alumni Association Board of Directors. He was on the Dean’s Advisory Board of Directors for the A.G. Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Riverside. He is a founder and past Councilman for the Crescenta Valley Town Council and has over 20 years of service as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff in Los Angeles County and Reserve Officer in the City of Redlands. With a passion for cycling, he is a former President and Race Director of the Redlands Bicycle Classic, a world-class professional and community cycling event.
